How selling works

Set up.
First up, you’ll need to create a Manheim account. Once that’s done, we can begin to get your vehicle ready for auction.

Delivery to site.
Transport collection can be arranged if required. Our team will be able to answer any questions on this.

Prepping the vehicle.
We’ll valet your vehicle and remove any branding and lettering to get it ready for auction. It’ll be a total blank canvas.

Inspection.
We’ll complete a full inspection, assign a condition grade and take high-quality photos.

Time for auction.
We’ll make sure your vehicle is placed in the right auction for the best chance of success. We’ll take care of invoicing and payment too.
Your potential buyers can bid online or in-person. You can also add a ‘Buy Now” price, giving them the option to skip the auction completely.
For all parties, we’ll be here to make the whole process as easy as possible. Paperwork, marketing, logistics – you can leave it all with us.
You’ve got full control over your reserve price. As part of our selling process, we’ll also provide a market overview to help you know where to pitch it.
Our expert auctioneers will work hard to get you what you want. If the reserve isn’t met, it’ll be marked as a ‘provisional sale’. This means you can choose to either accept or decline the offer.
In short, you’ll only ever sell at a price you’re happy with.
