To apply for a Manheim Truck & Plant account, you will need to register for a Manheim UK account. You can do that on the online registration form here. Or alternatively, you can register your interest here, and a member of our Truck & Plant team will be in touch to help you further.

We host fortnightly auctions in-lane and online at our Gloucester auction centre, with additional weekly bid and buy now events held on manheim.co.uk. Every week, you’ll find a fantastic selection of trucks, trailers and specialised plant machinery – all available to buy with the raise of a hand or the click of a button.
Once you have your Manheim account set up, simply select ‘log in’ from the navigation at the top of the Manheim UK website to get started. To log in, you’ll next need to enter your username (this could be a username provided or the email address you first registered with) together with your password. If you’re still having problems logging in, please contact our Client Services team on 0333 136 1750.

When applying for a Trade Account, you’ll need to provide the following:
- 1. Proof of ID Please supply a copy of your passport, UK photographic driving licence, shotgun licence or national ID card.
- 2. Proof of Address Please supply a utility bill, landline phone bill, mobile phone bill, broadband bill, credit card statement, HMRC letter or bank letter issued within the last 6 months.
- 3. Proof of Trade Please supply a copy of your trade plates letter from the DVLA, Motor Trade insurance certificate, or two recent trade invoices for the purchase of vehicles (Auction House invoices, including Manheim, will not be accepted). For a non-motor trade account, please supply two recent trade invoices for purchases relating to your business. Please note that when registering under a limited company, you are required to provide proof of identification and proof of address. However, proof of trade is not necessary.
Simulcast, our award-winning ‘virtual’ auction platform, broadcasts every Manheim auction live to your mobile, tablet, laptop or PC, so you can source stock from anywhere at your convenience.
The simplicity and convenience of sourcing stock online has made our virtual auctions increasingly popular, but that doesn’t mean the buying experience is any less. Simulcast combines live video and audio, detailed vehicle information, imagery and live chat functionality to recreate the buzz of a live auction. You can even bid on vehicles across multiple auctions at the same time.
You’ll need to be a Manheim Account holder to access Simulcast. If you don’t have an account, you can apply for one by clicking here. Once you have your Trade Account, you can enter Simulcast via the online catalogue on Manheim.co.uk.
When you’re registering for an account, you can choose to add additional cardholders – simply click the ‘Add Additional Card Holders’ button when prompted.

Payments to Manheim Auction Services can be made by bank transfer or approved wholesale fund providers such as NextGear Capital. Debit card payments are no longer an accepted payment method.

The hammer, or purchase price, is the price the vehicle sells for, but this isn’t the final price.
The amount of the buyer’s fee always depends on the sale price of the vehicle and the Manheim account that you hold – you can find full details of how we calculate these fees at your local auction centre. If the vehicle you buy comes with our Manheim Assured peace of mind, there will be an additional fee to pay for this too.
For some vehicles, VAT also applies to the final price. This is currently charged at 20%.
